Opportunity Description

ASEAN Youth Friendship Network (AYFN) offers Winter Korea Culture Camp 2024 for students and youth learners desiring a short-term immersion program. This program is a cultural and language learning event designed to give applicants a view of culture and a new language. Experience Korea this coming autumn with the AYFN’s Korean Culture Camp Program!

Local organizations and the AYFN Academy offer an invaluable Korean learning cultural immersion program and scholarships to increase foreign visitors’ understanding of The Republic of South Korea.

The program comprises Korean language training with everyday activities and cultural excursions to improve the Korean experience. It’s open to international students or youth with any level of Korean language ability. Applicants ages 15-35 have a chance to participants to gain a cultural understanding of Korea.

Participants will visit famous Seoul attractions and participate in typical cultural activities like experiencing Korean tradition, experiencing local foods, or learning about traditional Korean arts.

The primary aim of the Winter Korea Culture Camp 2024 is to inspire the young generation to open their minds to other cultures meanwhile recognize the importance of language learning. Students will end their trip by leaving with a better knowledge of Korea and a firm understanding of the Korean language.

Program Expenses and Costs

The followings are the list of expenses that the applicants should pay:

Program Fee:

Additionally, the program will accept self-funded applicants as early and standard applications. The program fee for early bird applicants is USD 650 for a member of AYFN and Alumni of the AYFN program and USD 700 for the AYFN non-member applicants. The program fee for regular applicants is USD 700 for a member of AYFN and Alumni of the AYFN program. For the Non-member of AYFN, USD 775

Selection Fee:

The selection fee for fully and partially funded categories of early and normal applications and self-funded applications are as follows:

  • For Scholarship Applicants USD 15
  • For Partial applicants USD 10

Self Funded Applications:

  • Member of AYFN: USD 0
  • Non-Member of AYFN: USD 20

Eligibilities Criteria of Winter Korea Culture Camp

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Applicants can hold any nationality
  • Age of the applicants must be between 15-35 years
  • Commit to return to their home country
  • Must commit to joining the whole days of the program
  • Have the ability to get engaged with the new environment easily
  • Be in a good state of health (physically and mentally)
  • Be able to pay the application fee
