United Nations is calling for nomination for Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela Prize.
The main objective of this prize recognizing the achievements of the people who dedicated their lives to the service of humanity as guided by the purposes and principles of the UN. The prize is presented once every five years to two individuals, one female and one male from each different geographic regions.

Who can apply?
- Governments of Member states, observer states of the UN
- Entities and intergovernmental organizations having received a standing invitation to participate as observers in the sessions and work of the General Assembly and the Economic and social council.
- Institutions of higher education, particularly universities and other education establishments, proving a program beyond secondary education, gran post-secondary degrees, and independent research centers and institutions that engaged in the dedicated service to humanity, the promotion of reconciliation and social cohesion and community development.
- NGOs in consultative status with the economic and social council. Laureates of the prize, unless.
