Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria for Displaced Students or Refugees in Italy:

  • Holders of Italian residence permits for “asilo politico,” “protezione sussidiaria,” or “motivi umanitari” are eligible.
  • Alternatively, holders of residence permits for “richiesta asilo” can apply, with a requirement to obtain one of the specified permits upon admission.
  • Eligible also are those with Italian residence permits for “protezione temporanea” for Ukrainian displaced people or those eligible to request it according to DPCM March 28, 2022.
  • Possession of a qualification required for admission to a First Cycle Degree program from an institution outside the Italian education system is necessary.

Eligibility Criteria for Iranian and Afghan Female Students:

  • Female students with Afghan/Iranian citizenship and residing in their home countries are eligible.
  • Afghan applicants may temporarily reside in neighboring countries for visa application purposes.
  • Possession of a qualification required for admission to a First-Degree program is necessary.

Required Documents

  • Valid passport copy
  • Secondary school diploma or certificate of enrollment
  • Curriculum vitae (preferably in Europass format)
  • Presentation letter
  • Residence permit in Italy or receipt of application (for applicants residing in Italy)

Assessment for Admission

The selection process is as follows:

  • Assessment based on curriculum vitae, language, logical, and mathematical skills
  • The overall score is calculated as follows:
    • Curriculum Vitae and presentation letter: 20 points
    • Language skills: 40 points
    • Logical and mathematical skills: 40 points
  • The interview is scheduled for April 8, 2024, in person or online via Teams.
  • Details of the interview were communicated via email.
  • A minimum score of 50/100 is required for eligibility.
  • Candidates scoring below 20/100 in logical and mathematical skills may be assigned Additional Learning Requirements (OFA).
