Key Responsibilities

As a Site Engineer under the supervision of the Senior Civil Engineer, your daily tasks will revolve around ensuring quality, progress, and compliance on the construction site. Your primary duties will include:

• Supervising the ongoing construction progress at the site.
• Controlling the quality of construction materials and the execution of the work.
• Writing detailed inspection and eyewitness reports, including the results of material testing carried out in the laboratories.
• Ensuring all construction works are in strict compliance with technical specifications, project drawings, and contract terms.
• Monitoring the contractor’s Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) program.
• Conducting daily field inspections to guarantee the work meets the requirements of the plans, specifications, and established good work practice standards.
• Determining field changes, necessary design engineering modifications, and identifying any non-conformances.
• Planning and recommending procedures for the contractor to implement, assuring that construction operations stay within the requirements of engineering design.
• Performing other project-related duties as assigned by the Project Manager.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the Site Engineer position, applicants must meet the following specific requirements:

• Education: Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related functional area.
• Experience: Have a minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in site engineering or construction supervision.
