Opportunity Description
Singapore’s Agency for Science, Technology, and Research (A*STAR) offers the SIPGA research award for international students in 2024/25. The Singapore International Pre-Graduate Award (SIPGA) specifically supports short-term research projects (two to six months) for high-performing international students to experience the vibrant scientific environment and work with world-renowned researchers at A*STAR. Therefore, if you are studying for your undergraduate or master’s degree and wish to be part of Singapore’s R&D, this is for you.
SIPGA awardees will undertake their attachment at an A*STAR Research Institute where research areas covered by SIPGA include four main categories:
- Biomedical Sciences (BMS)
- Physical Sciences (PS)
- Computing and Information Sciences (CIT)
- Engineering and Technology (E&T)
Given the increasing interdisciplinary nature of research, SIPGA encourages applicants to consider projects across all categories, regardless of prior research experience. Download the list of available SIPGA projects for which to apply.
