Opportunity Description

The postgraduate fellowship program is allocated for international instructors with a Ph.D. degree to teach different units in the disciplines of inorganic chemistry and green chemistry. Additionally, perform research in the chemical technology and development and applications of metal-organic frameworks. Besides, applicants will be responsible for participating in the internal and external service provision of the GUGC research center of environmental technology and leading bachelor students. So, anyone who meets the eligibility can apply to this fully-funded program.

Eligibilities:

  • Candidates must have performed academic research in inorganic chemistry and green chemistry in general and metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), particularly which is reflecting significant publications in national and international peer-reviewed books or journals.
  • Take part in national and international scientific meetings actively, which are related to the fellowship discipline.
  • Strong academic, communication, and organizational skills to teach university students to develop academic qualifications.

Skills and preferred attitude:

  • Have oriented qualification
  • Ability to take initiative
  • Strong English skills (writing and speaking)
  • Be able to manage a team and cooperate with both GUGC with the Ghent University home campus.

Requirements for admission:

  • Obtained a doctorate or a diploma or certificate.
  • At least two years of work experience if a postdoctoral degree by September 2020.

  • Portfolio including your applying plan and strategy and research funding details from outside.
  • Latest publication or papers.
  • Master and Ph.D. degree certificate and transcripts including an overview of study results
