Are you ready to compete? The 2025 Hult Prize calls for all aspiring student entrepreneurs to enter the competition and win USD 1,000,000. The Hult Prize cycle has officially started, and we ask you to join. Whether you’re refining an existing startup or crafting a fresh venture, grape, this opportunity is to make a real impact.
Currently enrolled students in degree programs, aged 18 or above, forming teams of 3-5 members from the same university, with the possibility of one member from another university can apply for this opportunity.
Hult Prize Competition Overview
The Hult Prize is a year-long global competition that challenges young innovators to develop social ventures addressing the world’s most pressing issues.
Competition Stages:
- Qualifiers (Nov – Feb) – Students compete in local OnCampus programs or apply online to qualify.
- Nationals (Mar-May) – Local winners and top startups compete at national events or via an online selection process.
- Digital Incubator (Jun – Jul) – Startups refine ideas, validate product-market fit, and develop MVPs with expert mentorship.
- Global Accelerator (Aug): Selected startups attend a business growth accelerator at Ashridge House, UK, where they gain mentorship and investor exposure.
- Global Finals (Sep) – Six teams pitch for a chance to win $1,000,000 in funding.

Eligibility Criteria
The following are the basic eligibility criteria for the competition:
- Entrants must currently be enrolled students in a degree-seeking program.
- Teams should have 2 -4 members from the same university, with an additional option to have one from a different university.
- Applicants should be at least 18 years of age by February 28th, 2025 to compete.
