The Getty Images editorial grants program aims to support independent and professional photographers who can reflect their stories deeply. The theme of this year in response to COVID-19 via reporting stories in the applicant’s city, regions, or country. The story can be related to a public health emergency, story of economic and social dislocation, potentially one of the scientific and technological innovation. The competition is going to accept eight professional photographers and provides an award up to 5000 Dollars for each winner. Interested and qualified applicants can apply.

Who can apply:
- Applicants aged over 18 years
- Professional photojournalists or newly involved as a professional photojournalist
- Photojournalists who are making most of their incomes form documenting issues and events through photography.
- Applicants can apply or with a team
- Applicants must not be an employee of Getty.
- The applicant must accept the terms and conditions of the competition.
Evaluation criteria:
- The submission will be evaluated based on applicant’s and project qualification
- The grants will be awarded by independent judges to successful winners.
Submission requirements:
- Project proposal about 300 to 500 words
- A detailed and short biography about yourself (who you are and what you did)
- Original images about 20 to 25 according to the proposal or not relevant to portfolio images
- The submission must be in English
