Opportunity Description
The University of Adelaide, the chemistry department within the School of Physical Science, supported by Future Fuels CRC to accompany Ph.D. applicants. Moreover, the students who want to research Solar Photocatalytic Hydrogen Production. Besides, the project will engage the synthesis, characterization, and testing of novel water splitting photocatalysts to produce hydrogen and oxygen in a Z-scheme phot-electro-chemical reactor. Eligibilities:
- Obtained their undergraduate degree in engineering or science and physical and materials chemistry, catalysis, or related field background.
- Hold a postgraduate master’s degree with H1 or equivalent GPA.
- Research experience and background.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a group.
- Management skills, time management, and work priorities.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- The scholarship is for Australian citizens, permanent residents of Australia, and international students who meet the admission requirements and received acceptance from The University of Adelaide.
Desired competencies:
- More than one first-author publication in a high impact journal.
- Experience in the catalysis, photocatalysis, synthesis of inorganic materials, surface, characterization such as SEM, TEM, XPS, XRD, and experiment improvement.
