Opportunity Description

European Research and Council, in partnership with Swansea University, provide a Ph.D. scholarship opportunity for international students who have to hold a master’s degree in physics, chemistry, or related field. Moreover, the Ph.D. project, which is part of a 5 years ERC consolidator research project, includes aspects of designing parts of an experimental, instrument, performing, ultra-sensitive surface science measurements and designing and implementing data analysis techniques. Finally, interested applicants who meet the eligibility can apply.

Eligibilities:

  • Obtain a first, upper second class honor or a merit master’s degree in physics or chemistry relevant field.
  • Non-native speakers of the English language need to provide 6.5 or 6.0 in each component IELTS or equivalent.
