Opportunity Description
European Research and Council, in partnership with Swansea University, provide a Ph.D. scholarship opportunity for international students who have to hold a master’s degree in physics, chemistry, or related field. Moreover, the Ph.D. project, which is part of a 5 years ERC consolidator research project, includes aspects of designing parts of an experimental, instrument, performing, ultra-sensitive surface science measurements and designing and implementing data analysis techniques. Finally, interested applicants who meet the eligibility can apply.

Eligibilities:
- Obtain a first, upper second class honor or a merit master’s degree in physics or chemistry relevant field.
- Non-native speakers of the English language need to provide 6.5 or 6.0 in each component IELTS or equivalent.
- Applicants from any nationality can apply.

- Two recommendation letters
- Recent academic diploma and transcript
- Update and details curriculum vitae (use the “Supplementary Personal Statement” application form section to describe the reasons for applying for the scholarship and similar skills and experience that match the scholarship requirement and how you develop the chosen project.
