Opportunity Description
The Workshop of Decent Work for Bangladesh is co-organized by United Nations Major Group for Children and Youth (UN MGCY and LEAD.
The target of the program is youths of Bangladesh. Youth from other countries can also participate. the Program is free but their is no support for travel and accommodation.

Who can apply?
participants from all levels (high school, undergraduate, graduate, phd, etc, and all disciplines who are between the age of 15-29 years old.
Objectives of the program
– Discuss SDG8 and the Global Initiative for Decent Jobs for Youth;
– Gain practical skills to engage in the political processes in support of SDG8 (at all levels – global, regional, national)
– Highlight the challenges the Bangladesh region faces in achieving SDG 8, and opportunities to improve working conditions;
– Contextualise “Decent work” to Bangladesh;
– Enable attendees to improve their labour market situation and to share this capacity with others through specific, time-bound, and targeted projects at the sub-national and community level.
