Eligibility Criteria:

• This award is open to applicants from around the world, with the exception of Chinese citizens.
• Candidates need to be in excellent health.
• Candidates need to have a strong academic foundation.
• In order to pursue a master’s degree, candidates must be under 35 years old and hold a bachelor’s degree.
• Applicants for PhD programs must be under 40 years old and hold a master’s degree.
• This scholarship cannot be combined with another one.

Documents Requirement:

• The Chinese Government Scholarship Application Form. 
• Front page of passport; if the applicant’s present passport expires before September 2024, or if its validity does not satisfy the requirements, please apply for a new passport before submitting the application.
• The highest notarized diploma (in English or Chinese). In the event that the applicant is a student, they must verify that they can receive the diploma and degree certificate by July 30, 2024, and produce the anticipated diploma or in-school certificate from their current school.
• Academic record (in Chinese or English, with a bachelor’s degree or above). Any non-English transcripts must have a notarized English translation attached.
• Resume
• Both a research proposal and a personal statement (more than 1,000 words)
• A pair of recommendation letters (from associate or professorial staff)
• Form for Foreigner Physical Examination. The results of the physical examination are valid for six months.
• A certificate of language proficiency
• The applicant needs to turn in the non-criminal record certificate from the local public security organization before the expiration date. Normally, the non-criminal record certificate is granted six months prior to the application submission deadline.

How to Apply?

• September 2024 is the registration time; the precise time will depend on the AdmissionLetter.
• Those who are accepted should proceed to Chinese embassies or consulates overseas to apply for an entry study (X1) visa by bringing regular passports, the Admission Letter, and the Foreign Students’ Visa Application Form for Study in China. They should also take care of the Anhui Medical University enrollment procedures by bringing the aforementioned documents at the time specified in the Admission Letter.
