Opportunity Description

The NPC provides a unique platform to give this opportunity for a talented and creative photographer in the field of newborn and maternity photography. Do you create a memorable gallery of your newborn, are working as a photographer, do you have beautiful photos of newborn and want to show for the globe? If yes, please,  Individuals from around the globe with a single goal in mind, in family photography, are eligible to apply.

Competition steps:

  • Step one: applicants should submit their photo
  • Step two: the submission will be evaluated by the professional jury and send appropriate feedback to applicants.
  • Step three: successful applicants will receive an official NPC Badge; applicants can use it for marketing purposes.
  • Step four: in the fourth step, successful applicants will be awarded a beautiful and personalized certificate.
  • Step five: applicants will receive NPC Member Levels and appreciation letters.
  • Step six: the winner pictures will be published in the official NPC Year Book and exposed in Art Galleries and Exhibitions around the world.

Submission categories:

  • Maternity (studio, outdoors, nude)
  • Up to 6 weeks old, posed or unposed, newborn in a single subject
  • Newborn with his/her parents, posed or unposed, hands allowed
  • Newborn with siblings, posed, unposed
  • Up to one-year-old, posed, unposed, sitter, is a single subject
  • Up to 16 years old, fin art, fashion, contemporary, studio, outdoors.

Required information and documents:

  • Online application form
  • Recent of applicants
  • Personal data (write about yourself, your career, your specialization, your country of residence).
  • Up to 5 images with the formats below (each image’s submission fee is 25$):
    • Your images should be in an sRGB or Adobe 98 color space, 8-bit
    • 2048 pixels on the longest side.
    • JPEG format with the maximum resolution
    • Must not bear a watermark or signature

Evaluation criteria:

Your submission will be evaluated based on the followings:

  • Light, pose, materials and colors, idea and creativity, and your work originality.
