AFS Intercultural Programs launched in April 1915 as a volunteer ambulance corps as the American Ambulance Field Service. Moreover, the AFS Mission is to provide intercultural learning programs to assist individuals to improve their knowledge, skills, and understating needed to make a more peaceful world. Besides, AFS equip the people to act as responsible global citizens and work through peace and understanding in a diverse world.
