Opportunity Description

USAID’s Resilient, Inclusive, and Sustainable Environments (RISE) Challenge aims to support organizations to implement promising or proven practices that prevent and respond to GBV in other sectors to environmental programming. Moreover, the challenge wants to celebrate and spur a broad range of sustainable interventions and integer able into USAID and partner’s environmental programming and investments. In this case, the challenge provides an award between 100000 to 300000 USD Dollars and funded base on milestones and an implementation plan that is mutually agreed upon.

Eligibilities:

  • NOG, for-profit or non-profit, national, regional, community, and indigenous people’s organizations, foundations, faith-based organizations, universities, women-owned/women-led enterprises are eligible to apply.
  • Different type of organization is eligible to apply.
  • Participants who are in partnership role that reflect the quality, professionalism, and existing relationships through related environmental sector, GBV organizations, organizations and gender and indigenous people’s organizations, local communities for the geography and industry of interest.
  • The fund should be used and implemented in geographies where USAID is currently operational.
  • Interests to provide proof and learning to show a clear and actionable for monitoring, evaluation, and learning.
  • Must provide interventions that show the objectives of the program.
  • Participants need to complete rigorous gender analysis before applying for the grant.
  • Must be able to manage a USAID funded project.
  • All submissions should be in English.
