UCD SPIRE is pleased to announce the 2020-21 scholarship opportunity for EU and Non-EU students to pursue their Master’s and the Ph.D. degree in the UK. The UCD provide training, mentorship opportunity with professional experts, practical work, etc. the program aim is to accept applicants high and qualified applicant to take part in the UCD SPIRe graduate program.

Level of study: Ph.D. and Master degree

Duration:

  • PhD. degree up to 5 years part-time/3-4 years full-time
  • Master degree up to 1 year

Scholarship value for Ph.D. degree:

  • Full tuition fee
  • 575€ as an annual stipend

Program contains:

  • Training and research methods, course work in politics and international relations, contact with Ph.D. studies panel, and staff regularly relevant to the student’s interests. Ph.D. thesis writing based on original research, seminars.

Eligibilities:

  • Applicants for research programs must hold a degree like MA, MSc, MLitt, etc. in the field of politics and international relations.
  • EU/Non-EU applicants can apply.

Required documents:

  • Application form
  • Cover letter, explain your interest in the SPIRe program.
  • Research or thesis proposal no longer than five pages include the research question, a literature review that addresses research gaps, the Ph.D. project, theoretical approaches, and research methods.
  • Academic transcripts, both from postgraduate and undergraduate.
  • Recent Curriculum Vitae or Resume no longer than two pages.
  • Two-letter of recommendations, with the following criteria:
    • Actual letters, institutional paper.
    • It must be sent by your institute’s official email address.
  • English language proficiency document
