Overview of the competition

Goi Peace Foundation, Stiftung Entrepreneurship in collaboration with some of its other partners, invites young entrepreneurs from around the world to share their ideas and projects concerning one or more of `the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It is aimed to highlight the role of youth in making the world more sustainable and help the organizer tackle the most crucial economic, social, environmental, health, and governmental challenges. Number of winners: 6 (3 winners in each of the two categories)

Important dates:

  • Competition launch: 1 April 2021
  • Voting, commenting and sharing begins for all: 1 June 2020
  • Deadlines for new entries: 30 September 2021
  • Deadlines for votes & comments: November 1, 2021
  • Announcement of finalists: 9 November 2021
  • Deadline for receipt of videos from finalists in both categories: 19 November 2021
  • Date for Panel of Judges’; selection of the winners: 29 November 2021
  • Online Award Ceremony: 10 December 2021

Benefits

Three winners for each category: There are two categories of the best ideas and best projects.

  • Grand Prize winners will be awarded a virtual Gold Badge and a Certificate.
  • Second Prize winners will be awarded a virtual Silver Badge and a Certificate.
  • Third Prize winners will be awarded a virtual Bronze Badge and a Certificate.
  • The People’s Choice Prize (the greatest number of vote winner for each category) will be awarded a virtual Gold Badge and a Certificate.

Other Finalists who are not selected as the prize winners will receive an Honorable Mention Badge.

The competition committee  will introduce the Winners at an award Ceremony online in  December 2021.

Conditions for participation:

The following criteria are to be fulfilled by the applicants:

  • For the youth category, applicants should be between the ages of 13 and 29, but for the adult category, the age limit is 30+.
  • Having a creative idea to invest in and contribute to the (SDGs). Or you are already running a business, voluntary organization, or an informal program.
  • advanced knowledge of English.

Steps to enter the competition:

  1. First, the applicant should make an account online. A confirmation email will be sent with a link to activate his/her account. The applicant may check the spam folder.
  2. Submit your idea or project by filling out the entry form. You will get a reply from the competition administrators.
  1. Proposed ideas or projects would be published on the competition website for the Entrepreneurship Campus online community and people to vote. They may comment on the desired entries after 1 June 2020. In this stage, it is also possible to refine the ideas according to the comments and recommendations made. It can be enhanced by uploading a 3-minute video elaborating on your suggested idea or project.

How to submit your entry?

You can submit your idea or project in one of the two categories that is relevant to your age category.

For youth, submit to Youth Entrepreneurship Campus. 

For Adults, submit to the Adult Entrepreneurship Campus.
