Opportunity Description

The Vienna Bio center summer School provides an excellent research opportunity for international undergraduate students. Each applicant will work closely with a faculty member and have the opportunity to participate in the following programs:

  • Research project in Molecular biology, neuroscience, immunology, bioinformatics, RNA biology, stem cells, and biochemistry,
  • Lecture series
  • Scientific symposium: each scholar will present his/her findings to students and faculty.
  •   rich cultural heritage, splendid museums, open dinners, visit the famous place of Vienna, etc.

Europes five leading research institutes collaboratively organize this Vienna Bio-center summer school. at the end of this short term program, applicants will be asked to give a presentation and the best presenter will receive an award. Talented applicants from all over the globe who are interested in graduate study in life science are highly encouraged to apply to this fully-funded scholarship.

 Eligibilities:

  • Applicants must have completed at least two years of their bachelor’s degree, one year of their master’s degree by June 30.
  • Those applicants who are in the last year of their bachelor’s degree and will be graduated before 1 July are not eligible unless they prove that they will start their master’s degree in September.
  • Must have research experience.
  • Must have excellent academic results and achievements.
  • Have excellent English skills. (test result such as TOEFL, CPE or IELTS is recommended not necessary).

  • The recent academic certificate and transcript or the enrolment diploma and exam results of the last years of the course you attended, or the proof documents of enrolment for the next academic year.
  • If the mentioned documents are not possible, please provide a personal statement that with the program you intended to apply for.
