The Welfare Organization for Rehabilitation, Livelihood and Development (WORLD) is a non-profit, non-government and non-political organization established to work for the development, empowerment of socially disadvantaged  and vulnerable communities in Afghanistan to address poverty and gender based discrimination.

The WORLD is currently working in 15 provinces of Afghanistan including Nangarhar, Khost, Kunar, Ghor, Kunduz, Paktia, Mazar-e-sharif, Kapisa and Parwan.
