Who can apply?

The applicant should meet the following requirements:

  • Be citizen and currently resident of a developing country that is a World Bank Member.
  • Not have dual citizenship of a developed country
  • Have the maximum age of 35 years
  • Currently enrolled in a Doctoral degree in a World Bank member developing country
  • Completed all coursework and exam to attain a PhD
  • Have a doctoral thesis centered on a field of development
  • Not be a staff or family member of World Bank Staff.
