If your project, make a difference and strengthen cultural and creative sector, you can apply for the International fund for cultural Diversity to fund your project up to 100,000 USD.

About IFCD

IFCD, established in 2005, active in different culture protection and promotion, moreover, the organization aim is to promote sustainable development and reducing poverty in developing countries.

Since 2010, the IFCD has provided more than 7 million dollars to funding about to 100 projects in 50 developing countries, their focus is on the developing and implementation of cultural policies, to capacity-building of cultural entrepreneurs, mapping of cultural industries and the creation of new cultural industry business models.

Closing date: June 13, 2019

Amount of Funding:

  • 100,000 USD maximum

The criteria of your project must be:

  • Make clear your project policy and strategy, and its effect on the creation, production, distribution of access to cultural goods, services and activities.
  • Specify how the human and private sector’s capacity is important for supporting the cultural industries in developing countries

Who can participate?

Public authorities/institutions and NGOs from eligible developing countries that are Parties to the 2005 Convention, as well as international NGOs are all eligible to apply.

 

Project implementation duration:
  • minimum 12 months – maximum 24 months
Project language:
  • your project language should be in English or French
