Opportunity Description

Abu Dhabi University (ADU) works on developing and empowering outstanding students, encouraging them to conduct and achieve their educational goals. Based on this objective, the ADU has offered scholarships and financial aid programs in different categories to cover the student’s educational expenses. The scholarship will be available to students with excellent academic performance to pursue their master’s and bachelor’s programs.

Abu Dhabi University (ADU) scholarships are open to students of all nationalities and backgrounds. International students can apply for various schemes, such as the Athletic Scholarship for sporting excellence and team spirit and the Family Tuition Waiver that benefits siblings and generations with reduced tuition fees. However, some scholarships are restricted to specific groups. The Abu Dhabi University Scholarship is exclusively for UAE residents and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) national candidates. At the same time, the H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Scholarship is limited to those who attended public secondary schools in the UAE.

Any Abu Dhabi University scholarship period is four years, or upon graduation, which might be sooner. In some cases, students should fulfill English language requirements.

Applicants do not need to re-apply for a scholarship as long as they meet the scholarship maintenance requirements outlined in the details of each scholarship section.

The scholarship application process starts after a student formally gets admission to ADU and receives a unique student ID number. This ID number is to securely log in to a university-registered account with a section for Financial Aid and Scholarships.

Since student information includes academic records and has already been processed by the University upon admission, any scholarships for which the student will be eligible will appear on their account page. The student can select to fill out the online application form for any scholarship that appears here based on merit.
