Opportunity Description

Youth Climate Summit is a global program that will be held at the United Nations headquarters in New York. The summit aims to engage the governments, the private sectors, civil society, local authorities, and other international organizations to gather for creating remarkable solutions. In this event young activists, innovators, entrepreneurs, and change-makers will lead the climate change challenges, and the whole participants will have an equal opportunity to present their ideas and solutions for the united nations.

Location: United Nations Headquarters in New York

Who can apply:

  • Participant’s age must be between 18 to 29 years
  • Participants must have the leadership skills
  • Participants must have strong and commitment solutions for climate change.

  • Register yourself or your friend as a 2019 SDG Pioneer by the UN Global Compact.

  • What motivates you to pursue this work?
  • Why do you wish to attend the Youth Climate Summit and what do you hope to get out of it?
  • Participants will have the chance to be considered for limited funding that’s available to support the cost of attendance (for travel, lodging, etc.). If you can only attend with financial support, please indicate with the drop down option below and explain why so that your needs can be evaluated (in 250 words or fewer)
