About the Program:

Talents Meets Bertelsmann is an international networking event held annually to host and provide the ground for the talents with entrepreneurial and creative mindsets to attend TMB’s international networking event 2020. If you are prepared to shape the digital world and are an innovative entrepreneur who is eager about the media landscape and data-oriented business model, you are then the right person to apply.

In the event, you will work together with experienced Bertelsmann entrepreneurs on core ideas and share your findings before a jury of Bertelsmann executives. By joining this event, you will acquire a deep insight into one of the biggest media companies in the globe.

Location: Berlin, Germany

Who are eligible to participate?

• Individuals with a degree in or currently studying business, economics, humanities, media management, journalism, business analytics or informatics, with a sharp enthusiasm in media and data science.
• Talents who are willing to develop innovative business models and who are thrilled by the newest digital trends.
• Strong potentials with a zeal for business, technology and creativity who have previously earned experience in projects outside academia.
• Students or graduates with better academic performance and strong analytical and communication skills in written and oral English.

Event process

The event consists of six processes: 1. Application period 2. Participants’ selection 3. Invitation 4. 3-day networking event with workshops 5. Joining TMB community 6. City tours for the winning teams.

Indeed, after your application has been reviewed and you have been selected, you will be invited to a video or alternatively phone interview. If you convince the interviewers, you will receive the invitation soon.

Benefits

• Accommodation expense for two nights are covered;
• Travel expense up to 300 euro for students coming from European schools; and
• 500 euro for those coming from non-European schools;

Awards

The best ideas will win striking prizes: the winning teams can look forward to invitation to international Bertelsmann summits.
