Overview of the program
The Swedish Institute (SI) offers an online leadership program for advocates of gender equality and those civil society leaders who advocate for gender equality and want the world to be a gender-equal place. The program” SI Leader Lab” seeks to connect advocates of gender equality from South Asia and the MENA region to help them develop their advocacy skills and grow as leaders in their fields. Therefore, if you are one of those this program is for, hurry up and apply.

Eligibilities
You can apply for SI Lab if you:
- Have a prominent position (formal or informal) in a civil society organization or network advocating for gender equality.
- Work in a collaborative setting, where you possess a leadership role (formal or informal).
- Are between the ages of 22 and 32 years.
- Have a sound working knowledge of both written and verbal English.
- Are a citizen of Algeria, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Egypt, India, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Nepal, Pakistan, Palestine, Sri Lanka, Syria, Tunisia or Yemen.
- Are available and willing to partake in all parts of the program.
- Are prepared to share competencies and knowledge you acquire from the program with your team, organization or other relevant actors.
Evaluation criteria
- Interest and motivation
- Awareness and analytical skills
- The extent to which the applicant has an impact on strategic decisions within his/her organization or network
- To what degree the applicant’s organization/network is affecting change in the area of gender equality
- The applicant’s possibility to both benefit from and contribute to the program.
