Young Applicants from Southeast Asia, South Asia, and Taiwan who want to increase their familiarity with their region can apply to The SEASAT Youth Camp. The SEASAT Youth Camp is focusing on the role of women and gender issues play in contemporary society. “Diverse, Empowered, Inclusive” is The theme of youth camp in 2020.

Description and benefits:

The SEASAT Youth Camp is a four day program organized in collaboration with the American Institute in Taiwan to expose participants to contemporary issues affecting the region, cultural and educational tours, seminars, as well as a crash course on basic leadership. The Camp also doubles as a networking platform to further connect the SEASAT Youth.

Costs and fees

All following local expenses during the camp will be covered by organizers:

  • Meals
  • Accommodation (each room – 4 beds )
  • Insurance
  • Educational materials
  • Other miscellaneous fees (museum entrance fees )
  • Local transport cost for relevant activities

 

Note: Airfare will not be covered by organizers.

 

Who can apply

 

– be between the age of 18 to 24 years old

– Interested in contemporary Indo-Pacific issues, and youth leadership

-be a Citizen of Southeast Asia, South Asia or Taiwan* (Taiwanese citizens please apply here)

– Holds a passport/Means to travel to Taipei, Taiwan
