These scholarships are worth £5,000 and provided to students from eligible countries, including Afghanistan, for one year covering their tuition fees. Eligibility criteria

To qualify for receiving this award, applicants must:

• Be students from the eight South Asian countries as follows:
• Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka
• Have applied for and pursue a full-time postgraduate one-year taught degree at the university. Applicants studying for a two-year program may be eligible for this scholarship for both years.
• Have an international fee status (not be in receipt of any other award or funding for their studies)

How to apply?

You do not need to apply separately for this scholarship. Your eligibility for this will be evaluated as part of your application for your chosen program (the committee uses the information in your program application to decide whether you are eligible for the scholarship).
