The Ph.D. scholarship is provided by the Melbourne Social Equity Institute in partnership with the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre.
The Ph.D. candidates will find out the impact of ASRC and other agencies on the empowering of people in the lived experience of seeking asylum like advocacy activities and explore the impacts of significant strategy.
The candidates will be supervised by Dr. Karen Block and using different methods for performing their Ph.D. proposal and or participatory are encouraged.

- Candidates must be accepted by the University of Melbourne for Ph.D. program
- Must have a good interpersonal skill
- Candidates must perform an accredited fourth-year program at Honours 1, or related level or at an Honours 2 level must complete outstanding research before graduation.

- Research proposal describes (preliminary ideas, key research questions, methodology, relevant conceptual and theoretical approaches, address how the project fits into the specific research program (2 pages)).
- Masters/Honours thesis examiners’ reports (if applicable).
