If you are interested and planned to an accredited university, you can apply to a Master’s or doctoral program scholarships offered at the Central European University.

Central European University is accepting applications from students to study their Master’s or Ph.D. degree by scholarship or self-financing.

The  Open Society Foundation support these scholarships to cover the expenses of selected students.

  • Bachelor’s degree transcript and diploma for master degree application, Bachelor’s degree and master’s degree transcripts and certificates for PhD (in English). Those who are in the process of completing their degree, they can submit interim transcript and a certificate of enrolment with expected graduation date.

    • for master degree: TOEFL iBT 88, PBT 570, IELTS academic 6.5, Pearson Test of English 59, Cambridge C,
    • For PhD: TOEFL iBT 100 pBT 600, IELTS 7, Pearson test of English 76, Cambridge Proficiency examination C
    • (students obtained a degree instructed in English are exempted from the English proof. )
  • GRE, GMAT (if required for the program you apply )
  • Completed application form

Who can apply ?

Master degree applicants:

  • Have earned a bachelor’s degree or expected to obtain from an accredited university (students with three year bachelor degree will be considered for two year master degree )
  • Not be enrolled in in another institution
  • Be proficient in English language (meet the language requirement)

PhD requirement:

 

  • Have master degree program in related field of study
  • In some cases, the department of Cognitive science and the department of mathematics will accept excellent students with a bachelor’s degree only.
