Opportunity Description
The Columbia Schools of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) and School of Professional Studies provide non-degree Certification of Professional Achievement in UN studies to conveys the primary studies in the related area for applicants with a higher degree or undergraduate applicants who rising juniors or seniors and outstanding academic performance in the field of political science and international studies and willing to know about the UN history, inner work, challenges associated with the UN’s role in the today’s world. Program curriculum:
Applicants willing to perform the program must cover the followings:
- The UN and Development: INAF S6569
- The UN and Challenges of Peace Building: INAF S6554
- The UN and Maintenance of International Peace and Security: INAF S6559
- The UN and Human Rights: INAF S6552
Eligibilities:
- Applicants in graduate-level and undergraduate applicants with rising juniors or seniors and outstanding academic performance in the field of political science and international studies can apply.
- Applicants with excellent English language skills. (TOEFL IBT 100, PBT 600, IELTS 7.0 or higher)If applicants are not able to provide the mentioned score, they can ask for the DET Duolingo English Test to demonstrate English proficiency. They must get at least 120 ratings to meet the Columbia SPS requirements.
- Applicants must be able to pass an online interview successfully.
- Must have strong communication skills (Written and Oral).
