Program overview
If you aim to study in one of the unique universities of Germany, having a high motivation and good grades in undergraduates studies in structural engineering and/or architecture, you are highly encouraged to apply to the Bauhaus University Weimar for Natural Hazards and Risks in Structural Engineering 2021-22.
The program is designed for professionals who have working experience in private companies, administrations or governmental institutions related to the field of Civil and Structural Engineering to study their master’s degree in DAAD Scholarship or by self-financing.

The focus of the program:
- The course focus will be in Structural and fundamental area of engineering based on supervised, researched-oriented and advanced course
- The course will cover both methodical skill and expertise
- Providing advanced, scientifically-based, interdisciplinary knowledge
- The focus will be on developing skills of modeling, numerical simulation and application of behavior-based design and detection methods, fieldwork and laboratory research
- The program will contain international projects as models, and highlights the students demand
Who can apply?
- Professionals with two years of work experience in civil and structural engineering can apply.
Requirements:
- Applicant must have a bachelor degree (B.Sc.) in Civil and Structural Engineering
- Applicants’ final grade must be at least 2.5 in the German system or higher
- Applicant must be from developing countries
- Language proficiency:
- A native speaker must submit the certificate of higher education entrance qualification or first-level professional qualification
- Common European Framework must submit TOEFL (IBT 80, CBT 213, PBT 550), IELTS 6.0 or equivalent certificate, Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English Grade C
