Mohammad bin Zayed Species Conservation Fund was established in 2011 to provide funding support for individual species conservation initiatives. In addition, the fund will recognize outstanding leaders in the field of species conservation and enhance the importance of species in the wider conservation debate.

There were 1,555 grants applications received in 2018 that 188 projects were supported by the Fund provided $1,517,355. This year, the fund will provide maximum $25,000 for each project.

Important dates:

First round application deadline: February 28, 2019                          Result notification: April 2019

Deadline for second round: June 30, 2019                                             result notification: End of September

Deadline for third round: October 31, 2019                                           Result notification: Late December 2019

 

Funding:

The fund provides maximum 25000 dollar considering salary expenses and travel costs for a specific project.

Eligibility

The project should be about an endangered species.

Applicants from all over the world can apply.
