Opportunity Description

Applicants from low or middle-income countries with practical experience in the field of economics can apply for an intensive one-year master’s degree offered by the Center for Development Economics (CDE) at William College, USA.

Admission to the Williams College Center for Development Economics (CDE) MA in Policy Economics program is extremely competitive. Every year, there are far more applicants than available spots. Selection is made not only on the basis of specific high qualifications, but also on who would benefit the most from the program. Furthermore, interview results and at least one reference are important considerations.

Candidates must provide their own financial support for their studies at the CDE. Candidates should first look into training funds from their employer or the government. If possible, the CDE will collaborate with individual governments and sponsoring agencies to aid in this process. Scholarship fund is also available from Williams College. These scholarships are open to all admitted students.
