Opportunity Description

International students willing to pursue higher education at any degree level in Azerbaijan can apply for Khazar University Merit-Based Scholarships. These scholarships are study awards from Khazar University to outstanding international students for 2024/25. The applicants are not required to apply for a scholarship separately; if eligible, Khazar University will notify the applicant of the Offer of Admission.

This opportunity period is only for one year. If offered, an appointed academic panel at Khazar University will review the scholarship on an annual basis and may extend it for the next year of study. The scholarship extension depends on the student’s academic performance. This scholarship program is available for all bachelor’s, master’s, and Ph.D. studies.

Eligibility Criteria for Khazar University Merit-Based Scholarships

Students fulfilling the following requirements are eligible for this scholarship program:

Citizen of any country other than Azerbaijan
Be a potential student.
Have a good knowledge of the English language—no compulsion to have TOEFL /IELTS.
Demonstrate an excellent academic performance background.
Be motivated to study in their chosen field.
Have the required documents.
