UNESCO and National Commission of People’s Republic of China for UNESCO is organizing the Third International Youth Forum on Creativity and Heritage along the Silk roads (IYF3) for young applicants from maritime and terrestrial silk roads countries.
The main purpose of this program is providing opportunity for the young people to voice their interests and concerns on advancing creativity via promoting cultural heritage towards sustainable future, utilize the Media arts as tools and vectors for this purpose. In addition, the forum is organized to involve youth in cultural and creative industries promoting common heritage through media arts.
Applicants who have a two years working experience or are student with formal training in Media Arts and Design have the opportunity to apply for a one month residency program in China.
Duration of forum: 1 Week Duration of the Residency Program: 1 month
Date of the Forum March 31 – April 6, 2019 Residency period: April 7 – May 3, 2019
Language of the program: Chinese / English with simultaneous interpretation
Number of participants: 120
Who can apply?
- Be between the age of 18 to 30
- Be the citizen of the countries along the terrestrial and maritime Silk road in Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, the Arab States, Europe and North America, Asia and Pacific region.
- have two years of work experience or be student with formal training in Media Arts and Design
