Opportunity Description

Application is open for Science Communication fellowship of the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA).  It is a three month fully funded fellowship program that covers all the expenses and provide great experience in communication through diverse platforms. Successful applicant will be working in IIASA institute through different platforms. Details below:

  • Round trip Travel cost
  • Monthly stipend of 4,000 EUR for living expenses

Requirement/ eligibility:

Applicants who fulfill the requirement below are eligible to apply:

  • Have a university degree in science or journalism, and / or be currently studying in science or journalism
  • All nationalities from any country can apply. Nationals of developing countries are encouraged to apply.

Competencies and qualification:

  • Have experience in writing about science for the public via diverse platforms such as blogs, newspapers, websites or etc.
  • Have written and oral English language proficiency with understanding ability of complex scientific research
  • Applicants who have experience or be interested in social media, video, photography or other multimedia will be given priority
