If you are interested to participate in an international science competition to demonstrate your skills and unleash your creativity in the fields of astronomy and astrophysics, Apply to IAAC competition and get awards. You have the opportunity to become your country ambassador at IAAC.

Awards and prizes:

35 prizes are available for potential participants:

• Certificate for all participants
• Best students receive:
  • 1 prize of 200 USD
  • 2 prize of 150 USD
  • 3 prize of 100 USD
• 1, 2 and 3 Regional awards for each region (Africa, Europe, Greater middle east, south Asia, South East Asia)
• Special school awards
• Awards for ambassadors

Eligibilities:

• Be high school or university students
• Nationals of any country can apply
• The applicants are divided into two categories (under the age of 18 or over 18 years ). Based on your category, you need to score more points to get qualified for prizes.
• Complete and submit the qualification round solution form.

How to apply?

Applicants should download the qualification round form and provide the solution for five scientific questions and submit them online.

If you want to become an IAAC ambassador, you should provide an application letter, CV, academic transcript and/or academic degree and apply Online.
