About the organization and program:

GYBN established in 2012 is an international network of 145 youth organizations connecting more than 375000 youth from 115 countries. GYBN is working for the biodiversity loss prevention through youth capacity building workshop in different regions of the world.

Workshop:

Through this program the participants have the opportunity to:

• Participate in team building
• Expand their network and communication
• Access to training in international biodiversity conservation policy, mobility, advocacy
• Learn campaign skills and project management

Financial assistance:

The organizer will cover the following expenses for the successful candidates who are based in the region:

• Travel cost only for traveling in the same region
• Accommodation
• Limited food expenses
• Visa cost reimbursement on a case by case basis

Eligibility

The young leaders who meet the following criteria can apply

• Be between the age of 18-30
• Be committed to biodiversity conservation
• Active member /coordinator of a youth organization/network/community
• Ability to share and implement the knowledge gained in the workshop
• Be residing in the region workshop is held
• Only Applicants from developing will be eligible to obtain financial support
• Applicants from developed countries can participate as self-funded participant
