About the Program

Green talents invite all applicants in the scientific field and researchers to come together in Germany and discuss the solution of the SDGs. Green Talents Competition is organized and initiated by the German federal ministry of education. It is a unique opportunity for selected applicants to become a part of a broad network of outstanding young minds and leading German institutions and participate in a two-week Science Forum in Germany (this year the forum will be organized virtually) and three months research stay in Germany at your chosen institution in the year after the Science Forum.

Eligibilities

If you are meeting the following requirements you can apply to Green Talents Competition:

• Be enrolled in or graduated from a master’s degree or Ph.D. at the time of application. (not to be graduated more than three years before at the time of application.)
• Work on Sustainable development with high concentration
• Demonstrate English language proficiency
• Be in high grades
• Passionate about what you think and what you do
• Be a citizen of any country other than Germany
• Living outside of Germany

Application procedure

Applicants must provide all the necessary documents and apply online before the deadline. (May 24, 2022– 2:00pm CET). Applicants need to provide personal information including their academic & professional background, publication, motivation about the green talents program, recommendation letters, certificate of English language proficiency from a language center, or university.
