It is a fully-funded program which the below expenses will be covered by:
Postdoctoral research:
- Monthly payment: 2300 Euro
- Family grants will be available according to the child’s birth certificate and disbursed for children who are under 18 years
- For one child: 400 Euro
- For two children: 500 Euro
- For three or more children: + 100 Euro
- Monthly endowment for scholarships abroad: 575 Euro

Level of study: Ph.D. and Research Project
Duration: 2 years
Required documents:
- Research proposal Maximum 8 pages the details below must include:
- Plus bibliography if necessary
- Font size 11, line spacing 1.5
- The topic of your proposal must be different than the topic of your Ph.D. monograph.
- Timetable and working plan with information about the necessary travel to archives, libraries, and museums or other destinations
- Mentioned the cost of materials clearly.
- CV and list of publications
- Copies of Masters, Ph.D., Professorship’s certificate and transcripts
- One or more recommendation letter must be signed by the author and send to info@gerda-henkel-stiftung.de
- Two pages of your monograph/ collection
- Cost of your publication
- The manuscript on which the calculations have been made on CD-ROM
