Opportunity Description
Colombia Government offers fully funded Scholarships to citizens of all countries cooperating with Colombia, except Ecuadorian, Peruvian, Hungarian and French citizens to pursue postgraduate studies at the Colombian universities for specified academic programs, in return for international cooperation under existing cooperation agreements.

Eligibilities:
- Must not have a Colombian nationality
- not living in Colombia
- Be between 25-49 years old
- Hold a bachelor degree with a GPA of 4.0 on the Colombian scale of 1 to 5
- Minimum one year of professional experience in their field of study
- Certificate of proficiency in Spanish Language
- An admission letter from the Colombian university

- Grant of $208.853 Colombian Peso (approx. 71 USD) to cover incidentals
- Grant of $401.321 Colombian Peso for books and materials

Required documents:

- Undergraduate degree certified copy
- Acceptance letter from a Colombian university
- Academic transcript of grades
- Certification of professional experience for at least one year after obtaining the degree
- Two presentation letters
- “DELE TEST” certificate with a minimum level of B2 or other certificates of Spanish language proficiency (for non-Spanish speaking country citizens only)
- CV (maximum 2 pages)
- Passport copy
- An essay explaining why they want to study in Colombia, the importance and the effect of that experience in their personal and professional lives (maximum 2 pages)
- Health certificate issued no more than thirty days from the application date
- Recommendation letter by a professor at the respective university
