Start-ups, entrepreneurs, Makers, and innovators – willing to find a solution to the world’s most important challenges that affect people’s lives- are invited to apply to Global Maker Challenge, submit their solution and win Prizes of up to USD 250,000.


Deadline: January 31, 2020

Reviewing time: February – April 2020

Announcement of final winners: 22 April 2020, Hannover Messe, Germany 



  • Up to 250000 USD award for four themes
  • Mentoring
  • Covering the following expenses for pithing session:
    • Flight ticket
    • Accommodation


This program is organized by Mohammed bin Rashid Initiative for Global Prosperity and the following partners:

  • Digital Divide and digital literacy
  • Rural transformation and Zero hunger
  • Sustainable cities
