After completion, what will you learn?

- Research the essential milk and wine production, future challenges, and problems in the relevant sectors and how they could be addressed to adaption and mitigation.
- Food production system complexity discussion, implementation difficulties of climate-smart agriculture, and other forms of sustainable farming and measurement of the impacts.
- Consumer behavior reflection, methods and regulations, and how the financial aspects influence the adoption of climate-smart and other sustainable practices.
Course topics:
- First week: climate change and greenhouse gases, interactions among climate change and agriculture, food security, climate-smart agriculture, history, principles and examples, various views on the food production system.
- Second week: milk production, cow farming, digestion and herd management, greenhouse gas emissions, and the possibilities for reducing them, within dairy farming, plants for our atmosphere importance, forms of sustainable farming, the possible option of reducing energy consumption.
- Third week: primary of win production, general, sustainable crop management practices, win industry created by climate change problems, wine industry adoption possibilities to climate change, examples, critical views related to climate-smart agriculture.
