Benefits of the CGS-High-Level Postgraduate Program
The CGS-High-Level Postgraduate Program at Nanjing University will cover the following expenses for the academy year 2023:

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should fulfill the following requirements to apply for the CGS-High-Level Postgraduate Program:
- Applicants should not be citizens of China;
- Be in good health condition;
- The age limit for Master’s applicants is 35, and the age limit for Ph.D. applicants is 40.
- Master’s degree applicants should provide a Bachelor’s degree, and Ph.D. applicants should provide a Master’s degree;
- Recipients of any Chinese Scholarship or funding (2023-2024) are not eligible for CGS-High-Level Postgraduate Program at Nanjing University

- Engineering, natural sciences, and medicine: HSK level 4
- Liberal arts, business, and social sciences: HSK level 5
Meet graduation requirements:
- Natural sciences, engineering, and medicine: HSK level 5

Language Requirements for the English-Taught Programs:
- Meet admission requirements: IELTS 6.0, TOEFL 85, TOEFL Essentials 9, or Duolingo 100
- Meet graduation requirement: HSK level 3
Required Materials
The documents below, either in English or Chinese, are compulsory for the CGS-High-Level Postgraduate Program with complete and accurate information:
- Transcripts from Bachelor’s degree onward;
- Certificate of highest diploma;
- Two Recommendation Letters from previous university professors;
- HSK, TOEFL, IELTS, or Duolingo for the applicants mentioned above;
- Personal statement for Master’s and Ph.D. applicants;
- Physical Examination Record obtained within six months;
- None-criminal record certificate obtained within the last six months;
- The first page of the applicant’s valid passport;
- Abstract of Master’s program’s graduation dissertation for doctoral programs;
- A portfolio of relevant works for Architecture and Urban Planning
- List of published papers in professional or scientific journals and abstracts of articles or representative papers (optional)

How to Apply for the CGS-High-Level Postgraduate Program?
To apply for CGS-High-Level Postgraduate Program at Nanjing University, applicants should have received NJU’s pre-admission letter. They should make an online scholarship application as follows:

- Please enter 10284 for Agency Number, and for Program Type, please choose B in the application form.
- Click the “submit ” button.

After online application submission, applicants will receive feedback on the initial review within three workdays. Applicants receiving resubmit notices, please re-upload the documents correctly by the application deadline.
After initial review, successful applications will go through the further assessment. The relevant school or department will send the result of assessments in the first half of March 2023.
