The Unilever Young Entrepreneurs Awards which was launched in 2013 aims to recognize outstanding young talented leaders and change makers dealing with the world’s biggest environmental and social challenges, and lead the way to a more sustainable future. The Awards is a big opportunity to support, inspire, reward and collaborate with innovators to help them grow both as individuals and as enterprises and make new business connections.

Benefits and Prizes:

• All winners attend a special prize event hosted in London
• Eight winners with the overall winner of the HRH, The Prince of Wales Young Sustainability Entrepreneur Prize
• All winners get the invitation to an Accelerator Program run by the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, followed by a year of mentoring support to meet their specific needs for 12 months duration
• €50,000 award for the overall winner of the HRH
• €8,500 award for each of the remaining winners

Entry requirement:

An initiative, product or service related to one or more of the following eight categories:

• Zero Hunger
• Good Health and Well-being
• Quality Education
• Gender Equality
• Clean Water and Sanitation
• Decent Work and Economic Growth
• Responsible Consumption and Production
• Climate Action

Eligibility:

• Any inspiring entrepreneur who is between 18 and 35 years old from around the world.

Submission:

To enter the competition, applicants are required to create a profile and complete the Application Form. In addition, they must share their plan’s details and the vision for its future.
