Introduction

Applications for the 2022 Apple Entrepreneur Camp for Female* Founders and Developers are now open. Female founders and developers from around the world who have founded organizations can apply and join this camp. The expected edition of the program includes an immersive technology lab, as well as mentorship, education, and support. So, if you or your colleagues are a female entrepreneur or developer, this is the perfect opportunity to take.

Selected organizations receive the following free of charge:

• Individual code-level guidance from Apple engineers
• Continuing support from an Apple Developer representative for at least one year
• A one-year membership in the Apple Developer Program
• Access to the Apple Entrepreneur Camp alumni network, a world-class group of inspirational and ambitious leaders

Eligibility criteria

Apple invites applications from developers worldwide and up to 3 members of your organization may attend. To be eligible to apply, organizations must fulfill these criteria:

• It must have a female founder, co-founder, or CEO;
• The applying organization must have female developer proficient in Swift or Objective-C; and
• It has a developed app in app store or functional beta build in TestFlight, or the equivalent.
• The individual founding the organization must be 18 years old or higher and proficient in English.
• The female founder, co-founder, or CEO, developer, and additional developer or designer regardless of their gender (if applicable) must be 18 years of age or higher, proficient in English, and able to be in attendance together with the entire duration of the program.

Evaluation of applications

Applications will be assessed based on the:

• Content of written responses to the questions on the application form;
• Commitment to development for Apple platforms using the most up-to-date Apple technologies; and
• Whether the app is novel or innovative.

Application components

It consists of four parts, including uploads and prompts for written responses.

• Organization information. Explain about your organization and provide contact information for up to three employees who would participate if your organization is chosen.
• Your app. Shed light on your app and development team. You may provide a download or demo link, as well as up to three screenshots or wireframes that best demonstrate the user experience.
• The future. Describe what you expect to attain from participating in Apple Entrepreneur Camp, as well as what are your plans for the future.
• Extra information. Select the dates for which you’d like to apply and provide any additional comments.

Your application will be kept on file for 1 year.
