Job Summary
Khana-e-Noor No.3 High School is looking to recruit 26 qualified teachers for its Khair Khana branch in Kabul.
Job Description:
The newly hired teachers’ responsibilities are to:
- Plan, prepare, and present instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences.
- Develop schemes of work and lesson plans.
- Create and communicate vivid objectives for all learning activities.
- Prepare the classroom for class activities.
- Produce a range of learning materials and resources for utilization in educational activities.
- Determine and select various instructional resources and methods to meet students’ differing needs.
- Guide and monitor students in using learning materials and equipment.
- Use related technology in support of instruction.
- Observe & assess the student’s performance and progress.
- Assign and mark classwork, homework, tests, and assignments.
- Give appropriate feedback on work.
- Acknowledge and oversee the progress of individual students.
- Maintain proper and complete records of students’ progress and development.
- Update all necessary records precisely and completely as required by law, district policies, and school protocols.
- Produce necessary reports on students and activities.
- Manage student behavior in the classroom by developing and enforcing rules and procedures.
- Maintain discipline in line with the rules and disciplinary systems of the school.
- Implement proper disciplinary measures where needed.
- Carry out certain pastoral duties, including student support, providing consultation to students regarding academic problems, and providing student encouragement.
- Participate in extracurricular activities like social activities, sports activities, clubs, and student associations.
- Attend department and school meetings as well as parent meetings.
- Share necessary information regularly to students, colleagues, and parents with regard to student progress and student needs.
- Stay up-to-date with developments in the subject area, teaching resources and methodologies, and affect relevant changes to instructional plans and activities.
Job requirements:
1. Education & experience:
- Have a Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited educational institution.
- Meet professional teacher education requirements of school, district, state.
- Particular subject teaching qualification or certification if teaching a specialized subject.
- State certification.
- Related teaching experience.
- Knowledge of relevant/applicable technology
- Having three years (minimum of two years of experience)
