Job Summary

RRAA is hiring 26 community mobilizers to work in implementing its projects in three mentioned provinces. Eligible applicants can apply for these opportunities after reading the details below.

Job Description:

General purpose of the job;

The aim of this job is to facilitate the raise the awareness of community members through home-to-home visit and community engagement and delivering the training on COVID-19 preventive measures and sanitation promotion and practices in the three provinces mentioned above.

Specific duties and responsibilities

1. Developing weekly and monthly plan and carrying out the planned tasks within the fixed timelines;
2. Conducting field visits and mapping of the riskiest area in close coordination with the office and the related official departments;
3. Support the line manager/team in the development and designing of the awareness-raising package by planned mechanisms;
4. Organize and facilitate the targeted communities’ awareness-raising through home-to-home visit and community engagement on COVID-19 and cleanliness.
5. Actively participate in identifying the beneficiaries’ and selecting for Soap distribution.
6. Inform children, guardians/parents, and other stakeholders about child rights and responsibilities with a view to identifying child protection cases;
7. Participate in the meetings and training planned by the office;
8. Prepare and submit the weekly and monthly updated report to the line manager;

 Job Requirements

• Be High School graduates
• Only local candidates from the target province/districts can apply
• 1-2 years’ experience in community mobilization and distributions;
• Ability to present the sessions in a simple and systematic manner;
  Have good communication, coordination, Negotiation skills
  Possess good report writing and presentation skills
• Ability to travel to different districts
