Benefits

IAS Scholarship programs

As part of the conference, there are two types of scholarships offered to participants.

  1. The IAS Conference Scholarship, and 2. Media Scholarship

The scholarship Programmes are key additions of the conference as they have a significant impact on the participation of individuals from resource-limited settings at the conference, and in turn, contribute to the global educational influence of the conference.

The Scholarship provides full registration to eligible applicants while supporting individuals who contribute to the conference program, along with applicants who are able to demonstrate that they will apply the skills and knowledge attained at the conference to the work they do in their own organizations and communities.

Additionally, the Media Scholars will get the chance to participate in the IAS 2021 Journalist Fellowship program that will be conducted virtually.

What do fellows receive?

Fellows will feature live and recorded online training with breakthrough HIV treatment, care and prevention research and implementation experts. The program will provide special resources for Journalist Fellows, dedicated access to conference chairs and other key speakers as well as special online briefings throughout the conference.
